This was drawn as part of the artist's research in to oak trees and their eco-system. Tiny unseen organisms that live in oak trees are drawn here in siverpoint, an ancient drawing technique, that uses silver wire to leave a deposit on the paper surface. The images are pale grey on white paper, mounted on a grey ground. Shown here in a higher contrast to enable them to be seen at all.
